    Meet Helen.

Helen created The Tipsy Filly in 2017 after she converted her horsebox trailer to create a mobile bar. The Tipsy Filly specialises in gin cocktails at weddings, food events and festivals.

Helen joined forces with a local bookshop to create The Tipsy Filly Book Club where an author chats about their latest publication and Helen sets up her gin bar to do demos. She also offers The Tipsy Filly Takes Over, which are events in a coffee shop or village hall to run a gin pop up bar alongside cocktail making master classes.

She works in collaboration with lots of different charities and businesses and offers corporate drinks too.

Although she does a lot of different things in her business, Helen finds that she’s often alone and spends a lot of time phoning her friends for advice. Before working for herself, Helen worked in an office, so when she sits at her kitchen table with her laptop, she often wants to bounce ideas off a work colleague. Helen has launched Girl Tribe Gang in Carlisle to meet other like-minded women to chat and share knowledge and skills!
